More momentum for the movement

Tonight 6 people will gather in a house in a western suburb of Johannesburg.  A psychologist, a business and life coach, a graphic designer, a credit controller, a marketing manager and a financial director.  Their ages are 50, 39, 31, 32, 46 and 32.  They are the people giving momentum to a movement of Christ.  They feel called by Christ to live more dangerously to expand God’s Kingdom in Africa.

They are tired of the civilized religion that has been a part of them all their lives.  Our country needs this movement to find momentum.  May God lead their thoughts and actions.

This group of people will live with the following values:

R = Radical Inclusivity

E = Eternal Perspective

N = Nobility with non-violence

A = Authenticity

I = Integrity

S = Servanthood

S = Simplicity

A = Apprenticeship

N = Nurturing

C = Community

E = Engaging

Take the first letter of each value and you get the word Renaissance…………………

    Sounds great. Continue to share how things are going. We want to know.

  • Sam. Sam.

    I’m excited for you guys!

    Are you going to get to see Erwin whilst he’s over your way?

    Parke,

    Will keep you updated!

    Sam,

    Unfortunately not, been trying to get a hold of him, but he is pretty fully booked over here, it’s sad, cause it was my idea to bring him to SA, I inisiated the process, but unfortunately left my job at the church, so I don’t get time with him.

    I am seriously thinking of attending Origins next year though…. I am actually thinking of inviting Alex over some time next year to SA, I learn so much from him.

    Take care,

  • Sam. Sam.

    Will you be able to get to any of the conferences Erwin’s at?

    Also, have you thought of doing the International Mentoring Network at all?

    Sam,

    No his conference is only for people and churches belonging to a group called Missionet, which is in the seeker macro church mindset.

    How does the IMN work? Not quiet sure, how much time etc?

    I get the newsletters, but seems like it’s mostly for those living in the US.
